Tagan Blake joined IMR in Fall 2007. His research at IMR focuses primarily on a literature review and feasibility study of smart parking systems for the COASTER train in San Diego County.
Tagan received holds a B.A. in environmental studies from Georgetown University. He worked as an environmental professional both for a non-profit and in the private sector for two years. At present, he is pursuing a master's degree in engineering at the University of California, Berkeley through the Transportation Engineering program. His academic interests include new transportation technologies, private transportation systems, transportation planning, and sustainability.
Tagan is a Bay Area native. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking for friends, playing soccer, riding bikes, and exploring the outdoors in Northern California.
