Kathleen Wong is an undergraduate student researcher who joined the Innovative Mobility Research group in June 2009. At present, she is working on a study of feebate policy for new passenger vehicles that could help encourage greenhouse gas emission reductions in California under Assembly Bill 32. Her interests include climate change policy and other market-based methods for carbon offsets.
She is beginning her third year at the University of California, Berkeley to pursue two bachelor's degrees in Environmental Economics & Policy and Environmental Science.
Kathleen is Secretary of the California-Nevada-Hawaii District of Circle K International, a community service-based organization. She spends her weekends volunteering with children, hiking and running trails, and playing her ukulele.
