Joshua Ma joined the Innovative Mobility Research group as an undergraduate student researcher in January 2007. His primary research includes work on the EasyConnect and smart parking projects.
Joshua is currently a sophomore at the University of California, Berkeley and is working towards a B.S. in Civil Engineering, with a possible focus in structural engineering. As an engineer, he likes to analyze quantitative data. He is also interested in the field of public policy.
Josh is involved in on-campus activities, such as the Cal Steel Bridge Team, a competition for student civil engineers to build and test a 20-ft long, steel bridge. In his spare time, Josh loves to eat. He also likes to exercise, so that he can eat more!
