Elliot Martin first joined IMR at the beginning of 2005. His research contributions have spanned a variety of topics including elderly travel, smart parking, carsharing, and alternative fuel acceptance.
At UC Berkeley, Elliot has earned a Masters of Science in Transportation Engineering and a Masters of City Planning. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering. His research involves exploring the methods and economics of designing alternative fuel infrastructure including feedstock development. Prior to graduate school, he worked as an assistant economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond in Virginia.
Elliot grew up in Stony Brook, Long Island. He completed his undergraduate degree in economics and computer science at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. In his spare time, Elliot enjoys reading history, science, and running.
