Elliot Martin joined Innovative Mobility Research at the beginning of 2005. At UC Berkeley, Martin has earned a Masters in City Planning and a Masters in Transportation Engineering. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering. His dissertation research involves exploring modern techniques of modeling new vehicle choice, with a focus on understanding the market willingness to pay for improved fuel economy. Broadly, his work interests have been in the subjects of transportation energy and transportation demand management systems. Prior to graduate school, he worked as an assistant economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.

Elliot grew up in Stony Brook, Long Island. He completed his undergraduate degree in economics and computer science at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. In his "spare time," he enjoys running.
