Caroline Rodier has over fifteen years experience in transportation and
environmental planning and policy analysis. As a senior researcher at the
University of California at Berkeley, Dr. Rodier has conducted evaluation
research of numerous of intelligent transportation system field operational
tests including advanced parking systems, shared-use low-speed modes,
automated speed enforcement, and virtual compliance stations for commercial
vehicles. In addition, she has over ten years experience applying land use
and transportation, regional travel demand, and emissions models to evaluate
a wide range of transportation and land use policies. More recently, Dr.
Rodier's research in this area has addressed key issues of modeling
uncertainty in the context of environmental impact and air quality
conformity processes. She has a Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of
California at Davis, focusing on environmental policy analysis and
transportation planning. She has authored more than fifteen journal
articles, twenty-two proceedings articles, and nineteen research reports.
