IMR researchers come from diverse backgrounds, complementing the multi-disciplinary nature of transportation and transportation solutions. See staff bios. Staff strengths include project design and evaluation, innovative and conventional transportation expertise, land-use and state-of-the art modeling, electronic and cellular technologies, alternative fuel vehicles, carsharing, and leading edge mobility services (e.g., Segway Human Transporter). The team specializes in designing demonstrations to test innovative technology in real-world settings, testing new business models, and in creating public-private partnerships that advance transportation research and improve the field of innovative mobility.
