Innovative Mobility Research (IMR) believes that all segments of society must be represented in order for transportation solutions to be viable in real-world applications. The non-profit community represents a wide diversity of interests. Improving air quality, reducing congestion, energy efficiency, enhanced quality of life, and social equity are some of the many issue areas represented by the non-profit community. IMR seeks input and joint project participation from this sector.

Intelligent Transportation Society of America
The Intelligent Transportation Society of America is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, established in 1991 to coordinate the development and deployment of ITS in the United States. ITS America also has alliances with ITS organizations in other countries, most notably in Europe and Asia.

The Society also provides numerous membership services and programs to assist its member organizations to achieve their ITS deployment and business objectives. Originally formed as a utilized Federal advisory committee, ITS America works closely with the Department of Transportation on projects and programs in support of the National ITS Program.

   ITS World Congress

The multi-billion dollar ITS market is thriving, with research and development activities creating new products and services to meet today's and tomorrow's transport needs and industry bringing these innovations rapidly to the market. Public authorities are embracing ITS technology more and more and have funds earmarked for ITS projects and investment.

The 2003 ITS World Congress and Exhibition will therefore be the venue where ITS supply and demand converge: bringing all of these players together to meet, greet and explore the ITS market's enormous possibilities. It will serve as a gathering place for the ITS industry and countries, regions, and cities committed to investing in ITS, as well as provide an optimal focal point for networking and creating business opportunities
